@Reqrezentin : That season did have good acting, and I felt that showing Frank Sabotka's "poor" life was good indeed. The show was never all about action at all. More about dialog. @ivypoison19 : Sure. First off, this is the first show with black drug dealers that show them as on the same level as the cops. They think, their smart, and their a step ahead many times.It's almost Sopranos esque. Their not stupid dumb black people as portrayed in most shows. I also feel that the gangland situations are done much better than they are in other shows.
I look back at the show, and it's way more different than most of the stereotypical gangsters we've seen. Gotta watch more. ivypoison19 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)

@Notebookwriter1 Also, the whole "gangster drug dealers" character is so played out and so old. That's why I enjoy Dexter more. Watching Dexter as he tries to juggle both a normal life and a life as a serial killer with an ethics code to follow. They give you something new and exciting: A serial killer that works in forensics for the police.
